About the Role
We are looking for a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant to design, develop, integrate, and support D365 F&O solutions. The role involves working closely with functional consultants, technical teams, and clients to deliver scalable and upgrade-safe solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customize Dynamics 365 F&O using X++ and supported extension frameworks.
- Design and implement integrations using Data Entities, OData, REST APIs, Business Events, and Azure services.
- Support data migration, mapping, validation, and reconciliation using DMF and Data Entities.
- Translate functional requirements into technical solutions and technical specifications.
- Configure and support workflows, security, integrations, reports, and system components.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize system performance.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployments, and production support.
- Use Azure DevOps/source control for development, testing, and release management.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, project teams, and clients throughout implementation projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 F&O technical development/consulting.
- Strong hands-on experience with X++, D365 F&O extensions, and customization.
- Knowledge of Data Entities, DMF, OData, APIs, and system integrations.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and technical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, source control, and deployment processes.
- Understanding of ERP business processes and ability to work with functional teams.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power Platform, Dataverse, Power Automate, or Azure Logic Apps.
- Experience with AX 2012 to D365 F&O migrations.
- Knowledge of Business Events, Dual-write, or ISV integrations.
- Experience working with international/US-based clients.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 or related certifications.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
